Blue Botanical Dyed and Hand-Crocheted Shawl: Alpaca & Wool

Blue Botanical Dyed and Hand-Crocheted Shawl: Alpaca & Wool
This hand crocheted shawl took me 12 hours to make using hand dyed yarns in a blend of Alpaca and wool. I dyed the yarns with blackberry, black bean and purple carrot. It drapes beautifully and is perfect for keeping off those evening chills in late autumn and early spring or brightening up your winter pullover or coat.
SIZE
The top edge of the shawl is 126 cm while the centre back down to the point is 62cm. The approximate weight of the shawl is 194g.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
I recommend hand washing in cool water with pH neutral wool wash. Do not soak for more than 15 minutes and lay flat over a clothes rack to dry. Never throw in the washing machine or dryer, it will shrink.
When not in use, store folded in a dark draw to prolong the vibrancy of the botanical colour. I would also recommend storing it alongside a moth deterrent such as cedar wood blocks or herb sachet since natural fibres are tasty to a few naughty pests.
