A photo of two ceramic bud vases coloured lapiz blue and with a ripple like surface texture carved into them. These vases are from Pinky’s ‘Water’s Edge’ ceramic vase collection reflecting on the artists connection to water throughout her life.

CERAMICS PRACTICE

My current art practice focus is ceramic sculpture, though I do enjoy exploring texture on small vessels such a vases from time to time.

The image depicts a close-up shot of native gume leaves stuck to paper and ink details added to turn them into bug creatures. This was a community workshop which Pinky ran for Albury City Council in 2022.

COMMUNITY ART

A large part of my artistic career has been working as an art tutor for people of all ages and abilities in our local community. I work in schools, councils and local businesses.

Illustration

When it’s too cold to potter about with clay, you’ll find me wearing my illustrator’s hat. I have a background in graphic design and work with both analoge and digital mediums with capacity to take on 2 to 3 commissions per year.
