EPHEMERAL by NATURE
Pinky’s current body of work is an exploration into the use of colour and materials borrowed from nature. It is a study on how best to use nature’s gifts combined with digital preservation over traditional artist’s materials so that the artworks themselves may one day return back to to the earth through natural biodegradation.
THE PROJECT OUTPUT OBJECTIVES
The goal is to produce a body of work across mixed mediums being Ink and paper, ceramics and textiles and to produce guides and tutorials for other artists to follow in their own sustainable practice. The body of work will culminate in:
A physical exhibition of artworks.
A digital composition of artworks and experiments.
Published books on the subjects of colour extraction and making of artistic materials.
A video series on botanical colour.
